HV Homestead is committed to providing reliable and transparent shipping services. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping methods, rates, processing timelines, delivery options, and liability limitations.

Shipping Destinations

HV Homestead ships to the following locations:

  • United States

Shipping availability may vary depending on product type, order size, destination, and carrier limitations.

Shipping Carriers

HV Homestead ships orders using the following carriers:

  • UPS

  • Purolator

Canada Post shipping is available by request only and must be arranged by contacting HV Homestead prior to placing an order.

Carrier selection is determined at the sole discretion of HV Homestead to ensure operational efficiency and service reliability.

Order Processing and Turnaround Times

Custom Products

  • Custom products require 2–4 business days for production after final design approval.

  • Production does not begin until all required mockups have been reviewed and approved by the customer.

  • Delays in approval will result in corresponding delays in processing and shipping.

Non-Custom Products

  • Non-custom, ready-made products are typically processed within 2 business days.

Bulk Orders

  • Bulk or large-quantity orders may require extended processing and production timelines.

  • Customers will be contacted directly with estimated turnaround times for bulk orders.

Processing Conditions

  • Orders must be placed before 3:00 PM local time to be considered for same-day processing.

  • Saturday and Sundays are not considered business days and are excluded from all processing timelines.

  • Processing time does not include shipping or delivery transit time.

Shipping Rates — Canada

Standard Shipping

  • Flat Rate: $15.00 CAD for orders $50.00-124.99 CAD

  • Estimated Transit Time: 3–9 business days

Free Standard Shipping

  • Orders over $125.00 CAD qualify for free standard shipping.

Courier-Calculated Shipping

  • Courier rates are calculated at checkout when applicable.

  • A $2.50 CAD shipping and handling fee applies to all courier-calculated shipments.

Courier Shipping

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on courier pricing.

  • A $2.50 USD shipping and handling fee applies to all courier-calculated shipments.

Free Shipping

  • Orders over $300.00 USD qualify for free shipping.

Delivery times vary based on destination, customs processing, and carrier service levels.

Local Delivery — Grande Prairie and Surrounding Areas

HV Homestead offers local delivery to Grande Prairie, Alberta, and select surrounding areas.

Eligibility

  • Local delivery availability is determined automatically at checkout by postal code.

  • If eligible, local delivery will appear as a selectable option during checkout.

Local Delivery Rates

  • Orders under $49.99 CAD: $5.00 CAD delivery fee

  • Orders $50.00 CAD and over: Free local delivery

Local Delivery Timeframes

  • Local deliveries are typically completed within 1–2 business days after order processing is complete, excluding Sundays.

  • Delivery timelines may vary due to order volume, weather conditions, or delivery location.

Delivery Conditions

  • If no one is available to receive the delivery, the order will be left in the most secure and discreet location available.

  • Photo confirmation of delivery may be provided where applicable.

  • Customers who do not wish for items to be left unattended or who require a specific delivery arrangement must contact HV Homestead prior to fulfillment.

Third-Party Fulfillment

Some orders may be produced, fulfilled, or shipped by third-party partners on behalf of HV Homestead. All fulfillment partners are required to meet HV Homestead’s quality, production, and service standards.

Lost, Stolen, or Misdelivered Packages

  • HV Homestead is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or delayed after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier or local delivery confirmation.

  • Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier or marked as delivered for local delivery, responsibility transfers to the carrier or delivery service.

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout. HV Homestead is not liable for misdelivery due to incorrect or incomplete address information.

  • Claims for lost or damaged packages must be submitted within 7 days of the delivery date.

  • Where applicable, HV Homestead will assist customers in filing a carrier claim; however, replacement or refund is not guaranteed and is subject to carrier investigation and approval.

Shipping Delays and Limitation of Liability

  • All processing, shipping, and delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.

  • Delays may occur due to carrier disruptions, customs processing, weather conditions, customer approval delays, bulk order volume, or other circumstances beyond HV Homestead’s control.

  • HV Homestead shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from shipping delays or delivery issues.
